We are excited to celebrate our 20th year of business!
Since 2003, Bellweather has offered Philadelphia and its suburbs award-winning design-build services. We've provided homeowners with quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service and made many friends along the way. We look forward to celebrating our achievements with friends, family, customer, trades, and vendors at an anniversary party this spring.
Community service has remained a priority for us, especially during the challenging years of the pandemic. Brianna was recognized by Rebuilding Together Philadelphia with the 2022 Volunteer of the Year Award. Will, a longstanding volunteer with RTP, sits on the non-profit's board.
We've made tremendous strides across all departments, but our Design & Development team underwent the biggest changes. Geoff was promoted to head of the department, and we added a new Initial Design Coordinator and a second Project Developer to the team. We rolled out a new design service - the Initial Design & Exploration Agreement - which helps homeowners conceptualize and prioritize their ideas with a focus on feasibility and value engineering. It's a small investment before the bigger commitment to full design. We've guided over 30 homeowners through the new IDEA process with rave reviews.
Our Production team hit its highest revenue target ever in 2022! The team is looking forward to expanding its capacity to handle even more volume this year, with the addition of a new Warranty Manager and a Logistics Coordinator. Due to our tremendous growth, we're on the hunt for a new, larger headquarters.
Last year wasn't all business - we had some fun too! Bellweather hosted 10 design-build firms for a week-long roundtable session; we entertained a Ladies Night at Philadelphia Woodworking; and we closed the year with a festive holiday party at The Woodlands historic mansion and Victoria cemetery. We're planning even more events for 2023 to connect with customers and colleagues.
Will and Joey found time for personal adventures as well. Will's son, Val, turned 20 and is a dance major at
UArts. Will joined the boards for The Woodlands and Three Bears Park, and became of member of the
Racquet Club and Bachelors Rowing Club. Joey settled in at Bala Golf Club and made several trips to
California and France. He’ll celebrate his 40th birthday this year (and his 18th with the company)!
We are grateful for the community that has nurtured us over the years, leading to our best year yet. We appreciate all your support and can't wait to hear from you in 2023!
